| Padmaja
Madala, MD
was born in Munich, Germany and graduated from Medical School
in Guntur, India. She completed her residency in family
practice at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, NY.
Her special interests include Women’s Health and Preventive
Medicine.
During
her residency, Dr. Madala received extensive training in
various aspects of Family Medicine and actively participated
in programs aimed at increasing health awareness in the
general population. She was a member of a multicenter research
group investigating factors leading to low birth weight.
Dr. Madala became familiar with this area when she volunteered
at the Migrant Clinic in Columbia Memorial Hospital.
She
currently lives in Slingerlands, NY with her husband and
three year old daughter. In her spare time Dr. Madala enjoys
playing with her daughter, gardening and embroidery. During
her school and college years, she received several awards
for her performances in Indian Classical Dance and plans
to pass on her skills to the next generation.

National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) announced that Prime
Columbia Greene Medical Associates, PC (PCGMA) of Hudson, Catskill
and Valatie has received Recognition from the Physician Practice
Connections Program for using information systems to measure practicewide
clinical quality and improve clinical outcomes at the point of care.
