Mary VanAlstyne MS, FNP-C is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who has extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in various settings to include inpatient hospital care, home care and emergency care. She received her BS/RN from Russell Sage College in 1993 and later decided to continue her education in the medical field. She graduated in 2008 from the SUNY Institute of Technology in Utica, NY with a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Mary has a special interest in working with people who have diabetes and/or high blood pressure and she is committed to helping patients achieve the best quality of life possible. Mary believes that her job is to partner with her patients to achieve their goals of physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. She is a long-term resident of Columbia County, NY and is very much involved in the community.
